The unit is nice and well made but the instructions to build it are very very poor. They include things in the images that do not apply to a mini split cover and then don’t include things parts that’s did come in the box. It’s not the most complex but to avoid having to try things a few different ways and undo it a few times, they need to give you instructions that actually resemble the unit you ordered. It’s a rather simple ask if you are going to provide instructions that they be somewhat close to accurate.

The color looks very nice. The metal quality was better than expected as well. My only complaint was the lack of fastener options to mount it to the wall. The installation only came with concrete lag screws. I ended up having to purchase my own fasteners. Other than that I'm very pleased with how the cover looks. I think it'll add to our court yard once we get everything else remodeled.

For others considering this project, it's a bit of "do-it-yourself". Person answering the texts on the number listed on the page was able to adjust the order to a unit that would fit. Also, helpful in figuring out how to install it.
I did have to cut out a section making room for the connectors and cables to the A/C unit. Also, securing the unit to the house / ground. So .. be prepared, it may require you to throw away the installation manual and solve some of these problems yourself.
Just to set the expectations here ...

The product is very solid and looks great, but the assembly is super frustrating and fiddly. The nuts for the bolts that are used to connect each piece should be welded on or a nut-clip should be used to make assembly easier. Other than that its a great product!

I think the craftsmanship is very good and the concept is great. Maybe we got the wrong size as there are at least 6 inches on the bottom that it doesn’t cover. It fits the depth and the width, but not the length. We bought some planters to disguise the bottom.

I have been wanting an Airdeko since I saw them in Instagram 18 months ago. Recently assembled mine and it's AWESOME. My heat pump compressor had to be installed right on my back patio. It was ugly, loud, and blew hot air on me and my guests. It was all you noticed when you were on the patio. The airdeko transformed the area! The focus is not on the ugly compressor any more--now my guests and I can focus on relaxing.

First, packaged SUPER well and well protected. Layers of cardboard protection, corner protection. Second, assembly and unpacking was a breeze. Every tool was included, and the manual was very clear. There were videos if you were unsure. Finally, I was able to get everything set up in less than a half hour, and did I mention it looks beautiful?

It looks great and not only covers the mini split unit but also complements front part of our house. It was a little hard to tighten the Allen screws in the corners but it worked out fine with some patience. Seems very sturdy and well built. I purchased this cover for my 18K BTU mini split condenser to ultimately hide it, as I had to install it on the front side of my house, and I didn't want to have an eye sore in the front of my house although it is behind my shrubs. My condenser is wall mounted and the install was very easy. I could not have chosen better, it provides protection, hides the condenser and is functional in being very well vented. The cover was easy to install, and totally hides the condenser from sight. Worth the time and money

I guess you could say I’m a good customer and a happy customer. We have four mini split covers. They are well built, easy to assemble, functional and attractive. The large size did not fit over our mini split because of the way they were installed. I made a platform out of IPE and screws the cover on. Fits perfectly, looks great!

This was a cover for a larger min split unit. The unit was installed on the roof and then decking was installed around it. One large unit was not tall enough but two units stacked were way too tall. So I built a three sided wood frame (from 1x6 IPE) and screwed the cover to the frame. It fit perfectly and looks nice. These are well engineered and made covers, easy to assemble with lots of options for installation. Highly recommend.

I find the units themselves really nice and service what I was looking for. However, I am not thrilled on the process of putting these units together. You need someone with tiny little hands to get in to put the nuts and bolts. very painful for a guy with large hands. Getting the little Allen wrench in to tighten was a pain but managed. Little tough on the hands and the gloves don't help. I'd give it a 3 on design of the installation. I'd give it a 10 on design and looks of the unit itself.

The instructions don’t seem to match the reality when it comes to assembling the side with slots rather than pass thru holes. The small bolt heads are too small to be using with the slots and go through. I ended up using the larger bolts and nuts to assemble the slotted side.
Wish the color was blacker rather than gray.

Ok, so it wasn't AirDecko's fault, but UPS lost the package so there was a bit of friction to actually receive the cover, but once it was located and installed....wow does it look good. Where there was once a white Mitsubishi AC now is this really stylish cover and I am fortunate that it matches the exterior. I set it up in about 20 minutes and was immediately impressed. I have the sense that everyone in the neighborhood will soon be ordering one as it looks that good. Oh, and Jerry, the founder of AirDecko is a good guy and clearly cares deeply about his clients being happy with the product so overall it's been a great investment and I would put a cover on any property I have that has an AC unit.

I was very pleased with the heft of this product (I got the Large).. It's quite heavy and well built, not flimsy at all. It was heavy enough I didn't even bother to attach it to my house as it's not going anywhere. It was well packaged and I like how the package warned the drivers that glass was inside even though there was none. Makes sure they treated it well. I would suggest when putting it together place it on one of the cardboard inserts in the packaging to prevent it from getting scratched as you screw all the screws in when putting it together. Definitely covers up the Mini-split outside HVAC and gets rid of that eye sore.

Great product from start to finish. Easy to assemble. The only issue I had was the cover was a little big for the plastic pad. All I did was attach the anti theft bar to the cover and put a couple screws into the pad to hold it in place.

I’ve actually had this cover for my split unit for a while, but was waiting for construction to be over to install and review. Absolutely love it!! I have an overprotective A/C guy who refused to set the unit closer to the building (claiming air flow needs), so my units sits a few feet out. The cover makes all the difference, even with it not closer to the building.

When I decided to look for a cover for my mini split condenser I did not plan on spending this much however it is definitely worth it. This cover is quality built heavy gauge aluminum. It is very nice looking and will not only protect my condenser from the harsh Phoenix, AZ sun but also from theft.
