FAQ

Assembling the AirDeko cover only takes a few minutes. The installation might take a little longer if you need to mount the cover to a wall or concrete slab. A detailed installation guide can be found on our installation page.

Yes, the Airdeko Extension Arm Kit is designed to give you the adjustable reach you need to mount your cover against the wall. The 4 arms extend in and out of the cover up to 8 inches.

Yes, the Airdeko cover is easily removable. You can simply lift it out if placed on the ground. If it is mounted on the wall, simply lift the cover up to detach it from the wall mounts (no tools required).

When measuring your condenser, you need to include the lines or pipes you want to hide. If the condenser is placed on a concrete slab, you will need to measure the width of the slab. The Airdeko cover comes with angle bars that can adjust to your concrete slab.

For oversized condensers (ex: multi zone systems with two fans), we have designed our covers to be perfectly stackable. You can order 2 covers and stack them to provide the clearance they need to install on your system.

No, the Airdeko cover won’t materially impact your air conditioning’s performance. It has been designed and tested by professionals. The louvers on the cover allow seamless airflow circulation required for the proper operation of your system. The Airdeko cover also protects your system from weather and nature elements such as hail, snow, branches, dust and more.

We offer 3 standard colors: Charcoal, Off-White and Bronze. We do offer custom colors for orders of 50 covers or more. If you need a custom color on a small order, you can easily paint your cover with a metal paint.

Yes, the Airdeko Anti-Theft Locking System helps secure your cover to the concrete slab and prevents air conditioning theft.

Ok, so it wasn't AirDecko's fault, but UPS lost the package so there was a bit of friction to actually receive the cover, but once it was located and installed....wow does it look good. Where there was once a white Mitsubishi AC now is this really stylish cover and I am fortunate that it matches the exterior. I set it up in about 20 minutes and was immediately impressed. I have the sense that everyone in the neighborhood will soon be ordering one as it looks that good. Oh, and Jerry, the founder of AirDecko is a good guy and clearly cares deeply about his clients being happy with the product so overall it's been a great investment and I would put a cover on any property I have that has an AC unit.

I was very pleased with the heft of this product (I got the Large).. It's quite heavy and well built, not flimsy at all. It was heavy enough I didn't even bother to attach it to my house as it's not going anywhere. It was well packaged and I like how the package warned the drivers that glass was inside even though there was none. Makes sure they treated it well. I would suggest when putting it together place it on one of the cardboard inserts in the packaging to prevent it from getting scratched as you screw all the screws in when putting it together. Definitely covers up the Mini-split outside HVAC and gets rid of that eye sore.

Great product from start to finish. Easy to assemble. The only issue I had was the cover was a little big for the plastic pad. All I did was attach the anti theft bar to the cover and put a couple screws into the pad to hold it in place.

I’ve actually had this cover for my split unit for a while, but was waiting for construction to be over to install and review. Absolutely love it!! I have an overprotective A/C guy who refused to set the unit closer to the building (claiming air flow needs), so my units sits a few feet out. Happy with the result. Had to do some metal grinding and cutting to create a big enough slot for the pipe work. The extension arms were too short to reach the wall, but the cover hugs the condenser really well to make a snug fit

I am very pleased with this product. Practical restrictions and HOA rules required us to install our heat pump in our small townhouse patio, with exhaust air blowing right across the sliding door. The cover directs the blast of air downward in just the way I had hoped. Construction seems solid and the finish good. I used the extension kit when mounting the unit on the wall. Careful measurement resulted in an easy installation.

Simple to assemble, fit’s well and looks great! Add the rubber feet to get it off the ground and feel confident the condenser is going to survive the next storm -winter or summer. Cover the coils with a washable filter before securing, it will make seasonal cleaning easier.
